The Unicorn - Unreal estate?
Another excellent announcement on Monday was that prestigious architect firm Foster & Partners has plans for a super-tall work/living space to be suspended above Bloomberg HQ in London.
Called The Unicorn because of its cone-like shape, the 307-metre tower will be clad in iridescent glass reflecting rainbows of light down on to the street below, and have several floors dedicated to hot-desking offices and sleeping pods aimed at London's young, urban population. Best of all, a helter-skelter slide will spiral down the outside of the building, reducing wasteful use of elevators.
